About the two dates. “Received by Provenance” is asserted by Provenance — it is when the file reached this system and was hashed. “Captured” is read from metadata inside the file itself, is reported by the device that created it, and is not independently verified by Provenance. Because that metadata forms part of the hashed contents, it can be shown to be unchanged since the file was received.

What changed
Since June 2025, Etsy's Creativity Standards have required that items made with a Cricut, laser cutter, sublimation printer, or similar tool be based on your own original design. Purchased templates and pattern bundles no longer qualify on their own — and a commercial licence is not the same thing as an original design.
Sellers who cannot show their process risk having listings flagged or removed, often with little warning.

Yes. Files are stored privately and only ever opened through short-lived signed links generated for you. Nothing you upload is public by default.
Design drafts, source files, cut files, photos of your process, and finished pieces. Most common file and image types are supported, up to 25 MB per file.
Capacity, and nothing else. Free and Pro have identical features — the same timestamping, the same hashing, the same Originality Packet export. Free covers 5 products, 25 evidence files and 5 GB. Pro removes those limits.
Storage, yes — deleting a file frees up the space it used. The product and file allowances, no: those are lifetime totals for the free plan, so once you've added 5 products and 25 files you've used your free allowance, whether or not you keep them. We'll tell you before you confirm a deletion. Pro has no such limits.
You get a window to take it with you, and then the account closes. If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for; after that your account is read-only for 24 hours and then it and your files are permanently deleted. If a payment fails, you get 7 days instead. We email you when the window opens and again 24 hours before it shuts, and one click in your account downloads everything — every original file plus a manifest of every SHA-256 hash. Resubscribing before the deadline cancels the deletion completely. Free accounts aren't affected: they stay open.
Yes. Monthly and annual plans can both be cancelled from your account whenever you'd like, and you keep everything until the end of the period you've paid for. Provenance is a live service rather than a permanent archive, so cancelling does close the account — see the question above for exactly how much notice you get and how to take your record with you.
